Costa Rica - One week in Santa Teresa

Well we made our way on the bumpy dirt roads to Santa Teresa and fell in love with the relaxed environment. The perfect town for surfing, reading, napping... Pura Vida Mai! :)
We stayed at a hostel called Casa Del Mar, which was right across from the ocean. The waves and tide were so strong, it makes it really hard to swim... But a great beach for reading and collecting sea shells (I have so many I need to ship them home...)
We rented an ATV one day and planned on taking it to the waterfalls in Montezuma. Well we really should learn that waterfalls and us just don't mix. I was driving, took a wrong turn, and went up and up and up this mountain. It was a beautiful sight, overlooking the ocean... But once we hit a dead end and had to go DOWN that beautiful mountain... It got quite freaky. But we made it down and finally found the waterfalls in Montezuma... After Hilda picked up some local hitchhikers. The guy really did have nice legs :)
At Casa Del Mar we met some really nice people. We went out to a party at a restaurant called Carpe Diem, and then over to a dance club called La Luna. Kinda of dive bar, with many territorial Costa Ricans. But a great time was had by all. We met this guy at Cafe Liberal one night and he summed up the men in Santa Teresa hilariously. He said "I can't even talk to a female here without a tico coming up and yelling 'What do you think you are doing? I was looking at this chica for an hour!'" Bingo.
I will definitely miss Santa Teresa... But Argentina here we come!
