Well we are officially on Day 40! So on Day 35 we went back to Buenos Aires and finally had a chance to visit La Boca! So colourful, so beautiful, but very touristy. People are trying to sell you things at every turn. I bought a painting from this amazing man who turned my name into a tango picture, and we took an awesome picture together in a tango position.
On Day 36 we went to El Tigre. Such a cool place, the town has no roads, only canals. So if you want to live in this town, you have to own a boat. Oh and the grocery boat comes around so you can get food. Awesome way of living. A tour guide name Fernando approached us on the street and we took the tour with him. He was an amazing dude, told us how he got in trouble for destroying all the pepsi signs the government put up in the canal. Amazing. People are really passionate about their land here. It´s nice to see that connection still exists.
Day 37 we went back to Recoleta to finally see the famous cemetery, which rests many famous people, including Evita. So beautiful. That was our last night in BA so we decided to dance the night away at a club called Behrein. I had an amazing time.
We made our way over to Puerto Iguaza, and on Day 40, we saw Iguazu Falls. Words and pictures cannot describe how beautiful this place was. We walked around ALL day looking at all the waterfalls. I think there are over 215 or something crazy like that. Incredible.
Tomorrow we are on our way to Salta (22 hour bus ride) and then to Jujuy for WWOOFing! I will be out of contact for 2 weeks... they have no electricity! So excited!
